Santosh Damodar is the founder and creative force

behind the well-known Trivandrum based movie

production company, Damor Cinema. His career took

off from New Delhi where he was primarily into the fashion industry. While there, he established a strong relationship with a range of varied kinds of professionals and business-es. At a stage, he even diverted himself to real estate business to settle himself for a quieter life. But the urge for doing serious creative work made him turn his focus towards the entertainment industry.

With a thorough experience in a variety of fields, Santosh Damodar has impressive list of contacts. In the early 1990s, collaborating with State-owned television channel Doordarshan, he forayed into serials and sitcoms. His debut with commercial films started with a malayalam movie 'Pakalpooram' followed by 'Vallkannadi', 'Ivar' and 'Chandrolsavam'. His film 'Lanka' under Damor Cinema has been much acclaimed and so was 'Kurukshethra'.

The upcoming hindi and Tamil ventures are dream

projects that could be the brighter feathers on his cap.

Santosh's eye for fine productions, his attention to even

the minute details in film-making and an intense passion towards genuine creativity have left him busy with national and international offers and collaborative ventures. His reputation as a highly creative individual and film-maker has increased a lot after his latest movie ventures.
